Well folks, my website finally went public! Over the years I’ve developed my craft and finally have the courage to post my collection online for the world to see.
Hi I’m Patuk and I have 1001 art projects that keep me sane, and also drive me crazy. You can now own a piece of peace! 🤓
I am always looking for new ways to incorporate my Iñupiaq teachings into my designs or products. My grandmother, (whom I’m named after) was a teacher, and she instilled in me a love for learning and creating.
Many times I create items that either help serve a purpose for myself and family, or to help beautify the environment I create for myself (my home). Most of what you will see in my shop initially will be made to order items I've created with my digital art, but as time goes on I will provide new offerings, so stay tuned and subscribe to my page!
I love to blend my traditional Iñupiaq heritage with 21st century living. I gather plants, I work with skins, I carve baleen and ivory, and I incorporate old recipes or designs into my work. You will likely see a variety of items I create; anything from wearable art, to salves and home decor. Every piece I create usually has a story to accompany it.
